200 Pounds Beauty (미녀는 괴로워) is a 2006 South Korean comedy. The story tells the tale about a large girl that undergoes an extreme makeover to become a pop singer.



4-5 star rating - coz it is very funny movie and carry parts that brought some touching moments. Laugh and cry in certain parts of the movie loh...(Hao)

The title song in the movie is a cover of the Blondie song "Maria." The Korean modern rock band Loveholic also appears on the 200 Pounds Beauty soundtrack.

Truly Chow's acting skills is one of the coolest style.

Abit draggy but encompassed humorous & actions.

Too bad abit tired from my work and missed some parts of the movie honestly but will still grade it a 3 stars movie on its script - 4 stars overall.

Saw Mr Bean Holidays at Vivo City on Monday 2nd April 2007. Some parts very funny and creative especially the part he and the boy (playing death) beg for money. Hahaha..
